What is Healthy Aging?

Healthy Aging is resiliency throughout aging and is prevention as well as treatment. It is maximizing your potential throughout your life and it starts from a very young age. Aging is inevitable but not all the issues that go along with it are. And for the problems we can’t escape, they certainly don’t have to be as bad. So many people are walking around in way more pain and discomfort than they need to be.

Did you know that musculoskeletal health is one of, if not the most important factor influencing quality of life in older age?

If your muscles and joints are in pain, it is difficult to do anything! You can get trapped in a seemly endless cycle of being sedentary due to pain, and then getting more pain because you’re sedentary! There is good news for you… we can help out with that, a TON!

A substantial amount of your pain and mobility can likely be treated.

Sure, you’ve been told you have joint degeneration and maybe even arthritis. Maybe you’ve had your particular pain for years, or maybe it is from a very old injury. Pain is never just from one source and a lot of times there is room for AMAZING improvement. We focus on the battles that can be won, and there are usually several. Some of them are easy while others may take some time and effort on your end. The bottom line: You don’t have to live in as much pain as you are currently.

Prevention

Identify your weaknesses and focus on improving them. The first step is figuring out where you are most susceptible to have issues. Instead of spending countless hours performing sub optimal exercises, figure out what the best ones are for you. You can keep doing the old exercises, but when your in a crunch for time we can help dial in your program or start you out on one!
